The chauffeur app is instrumental in shaping the day-to-day experiences of thousands of chauffeurs across four countries. It makes their daily jobs easier and helps them deliver a luxury service to our passengers. Offering an outstanding product experience is essential to growing, retaining and engaging our chauffeur network.
We are looking for an Android Engineer to join the Supply team, who will play a crucial role in enhancing our service quality by developing our domain services for partners and chauffeurs.
Responsibilities- Develop new features and interfaces in the Android application, focusing on chauffeur experience enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
- Improve test coverage and the overall quality of the codebase.
- Work on app performance optimization, including startup speed and overall app responsiveness.
- Enhance app security and ensure robust, secure code.
- Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a solid understanding of Coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team and articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- A passion for delivering a superior user experience and a keen eye for detail.
