We're looking for a talented Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement and launch new features, and ensuring the application's performance and scalability.

THINGS YOU WILL DO  

  • Design, build and maintain high quality Android applications
  • Collaborate with the design, product nd backend teams to define, design and ship new features
  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code using best practices and design patterns
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks and issues
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies in project management and development cycles 


SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE 

  • min. 5 years of experience as a Android Developer
  • Working experience with Kotlin/Java
  • Experience in RESTful Apis to connect Android apps to backend services
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. GIT)
  • Solid knowledge of UI/UX practices and standards
  • Experience with architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP or MVI), security, performance and accessibility
  • Problem solver, open-minded, communicative
  • Very good English skills (both written and spoken)
