We are looking for an Android Developer Specialist to be included in the software development team, Tirana, and help us develop and maintain various software products. The developer will be part of the Betting & Virtual Races Department, responsible for development and maintenance of the betting application.
Android Developer responsibilities mainly deal with software development of applications on the mobile side in collaboration with the development team on the Italian branch. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using mobile logic and work well in a team.
What you'll do:
- Develop new features for the applications
- Maintain existing application by fixing problems or refactoring to improve their efficiency and reliability
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Build high-quality code by developing both unit and integration testing
- Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to the highest standards
- Collaborate with peer organizations, devOps, and support organizations on technical document projects.
What you'll bring:
- Strong proficiency on Kotlin programming language
- Proven knowledge on software architectures, design patterns for mission critical applications
- Familiarity of object-oriented design, SOLID principles
- Good understanding on MVVM architecture
- Hands-on experience with git
- A good sense of engineering tradeoffs, within the contexts of extendibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team and great communication skills
- Fluency in English and good understating of Italian language
Preferable:
- Knowledge on mobile libraries like LiveData, Retrofit
- Experience on HTML, CSS, SQL
- Knowledge on the principles of REST, OpenAPI
