Anchoring and Wrapping Associate (Overnight)About This Role:
Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent, full-time Anchoring and Wrapping Associate for our fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON!

What You'll Be Doing:
Wrap pallets and skids using an automated wrapping machine
Organize and account for pallets to be loaded on assigned trailers
Verify and place pallets in assigned shipping lanes
Conduct physical inventories
Sorts and lanes items and pallets from transfer racks and lanes
Assist in pallet consolidation for loading
Complete full pallet picks from staging areas
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and comply with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards
Pick store orders as required
Operate an electric pallet truck capable of pulling 2 skids at a time
Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor
What You'll Bring:
Ability to follow direction
Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail
Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience is an asset
As part of your onboarding, you will be required to complete three days of paid machine training and successfully obtain in-house certification. Successful machine certification is a mandatory condition of employment as it is an occupational requirement.

Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am

Hourly Rate

Competitive Compensation: The expected pay rate for this position is listed above, and Giant Tiger offers guaranteed increases based on cumulative hours worked. Please note that overnight shifts and working in our cold storage location qualify for hourly premiums, further increasing your earning potential.
