Google Analytics and Implementation Specialist Job Description

Helium SEO is hiring a 1099  Analytics Specialist to join our growing team.  In this role, you will support multiple clients' Google Analytics accounts and manage simultaneous projects and deliverables. This person must have a thorough understanding of Google Analytics (from implementation to administration) and a passion for data. 

Helium SEO is located in Cincinnati, OH. We are open to hiring a contractor to work remotely from Argentina. 

Role Expectations Include

• Evaluate client Google Analytics configurations and implementations
• Methodically track events, attribution, optimizations, record learnings, and share widely across the team
• Deliver consultative guidance on Google Analytics issue remediation 
• Flawlessly create and maintain Google Looker Studio dashboards 
• Implement SEO changes in a variety of CMS environments (primarily WordPress)
  • Create site-wide changes that implement SEO recommendations
  • Implement new content and changes to existing content

Preferred Background

• 1+ years experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
• Strong understanding of the reporting and administration of Google Analytics 
• Experience with creating Data Studio dashboards following data visualization best practices
• Basic coding knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, Python, and WP page builders.
• High level of understanding of Google Analytics settings, user permissions, goals, and event-tracking strategies
• Strong knowledge of other Google Marketing Platform solutions, such as Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio, is a plus.
• Contagious enthusiasm for the digital marketing industry and technologies

Required Skills

• You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize and see projects through to completion.
• Ability to implement acquisition, event/key event, conversion, and e-commerce tracking for detailed insights in both GA4 and Google Ads
• Proven ability to handle multiple assignments in high-pressure environments
• Proven ability to think through testing objectives, develop tests, track performance, and understand when enough data has been collected to make a determination
• You are extremely self-aware and continually strive to improve your understanding of digital marketing and keep up with industry trends.

Additional

• This 1099 position will start at about 20 hours per week
• Work remotely from home
• This position is a contract, and you will be responsible for setting your own schedule and invoicing us for the hours worked. This position is not eligible for benefits.
