Opportunity to join one of the globally leading fund of funds managers in private equity and infrastructure with more than $90 billion of assets under management across secondaries and primaries. You will be working in an experienced, truly global team of more than 100 talented and highly motivated professionals of which 6 in Ardian’s Zurich office. Ardian is a pioneer in the strongly growing secondaries market with a 25-years track record and has completed some of the largest ever secondary transactions. Furthermore, the global fund of funds investment team is also allocating significant amounts of primary capital to world leading fund managers on behalf of our clients, thus gaining deep insights into their strategies and portfolio investments.
Secondary fund of funds:
- Participate in investment opportunities sourcing effort
- Value and price equity interests in private equity funds and companies
- Analyze business models and market position
- Prepare financial projections and transaction modeling
- Prepare investment recommendations
- Presentation to the global team and Investment Committees
- Monitor investments and development vs. targeted performance
- Prepare reporting presentations to Limited Partners and Advisory Boards
Primary fund of funds:
- Screen European private equity market
- Compile information and conduct research, meet and evaluate fund managers
- Conduct due diligence (strategy, team, performance)
- Prepare investment recommendation
- Presentation to the global team and Investment Committees
- Monitor portfolio through ongoing dialogue with managers & attendance of investors meetings
- Prepare reporting presentations to Limited Partners
Profile:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience incl. internships in private equity, M&A or corporate finance
- International experience is a plus
Required Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Self-confident and confident appearance in front of fund managers and investors
- Fluent in English
- Native (or very good level) in German
