Job Responsibilities:
Job Introduction
The job holder supports the corresponding team lead in all activities of the department and ensures active participation in the daily business of her/his functional responsibility.
Major Responsibilities
  • Implement solutions using SAP configuration, master data setup or code. Provide support in the creation of query reports/programs, barcode and mobile solutions
  • Provide day-to-day SAP end-user 1st,2nd and 3rd level support and work on enhancement projects, and support roll-out projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems / implementations. Identify feasible solutions within SAP framework and estimate effort needed. Assist in system-related issues of manufacturing/warehousing information processes/procedures. Design practical, creative, conceptual technical solutions for business requirements balancing appropriate technology, cost and implementation timeline.
  • Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge. Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a high-morale/high-performance team culture, consulting attitude and strong personal integrity.
  • Develop and adhere to standards for design, testing, change control, code deployment, software controls, configuration management, continuous integration, and trouble-shooting and root cause analysis of application problems
  • Monitor and test all SAP SD & JIT/JIS processes and ensure changed solutions are not impacted by other module. Review and work up development requests & specs for ABAP programmers to develop customized functionality or reports to meet business requirements. Debugging and development skills are highly welcome.
  • Project management & coordination with divisions - follow up, periodic Review. Analytical and flexible approaches in the projects and coordination of available resources; Maintain/develop documentation - mapping docs, process docs. Project and Time Management Skills
  • Ensures time-tracking of his/her projects and tickets.

Knowledge and Education
  • Studies in Business Informatics or other comparable education
  • Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in SAP SD as well as logistic execution and transportation (LE-TRA)
  • Good to have - Experiences with summarized JIT calls and JIS call-offs (IS-A-JIT)
  • Good to have - Basic knowledge in ABAP
  • Basic knowledge in customs and foreign trade
  • Good experiences in process modeling and design

Skills and Competencies
  • SAP, MS Office Tools, Microsoft Outlook
  • Profound English language skills (written and oral)
  • Other language skills are very welcome
