Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Gather testing requirements by evaluating the product requirement specifications (functional / non-functional) and raise clarifications with product owners, business analysts and customers
Actively participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements and provide feedback to estimates of work
Develop, execute and maintain test scripts/cases – manual, automation, performance, and supporting analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
Communicate clearly with team and keep clear line of communication open to ensure full understanding of tasks, asking questions where necessary
Maintain a full, accurate and up-to-date documentation
Ensure software testing and quality standards are consistently applied throughout the delivery life cycle
Co-ordinate work of other team members, promoting an inclusive and open culture, working with global teams
Drive continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
Exhibits moderate knowledge in Software quality assurance processes and methodologies
Exhibits moderate experience in manual, test automation or performance testing
Exhibits moderate experience in the Software development life cycle and one programming language (JAVA or Python), preferably in multi-tiered applications.
Understanding of financial markets, experience testing financial software a plus
