The Analyst, Private Placements job supports debt underwriting, portfolio management, and the origination and execution of debt private placements. This job provides analytical, financial modeling, structuring, research, and transaction support to senior investment professionals. Under direct supervision, the analyst will be part of an investment team working in several different asset classes which include corporate debt, asset based securities, infrastructure debt, and credit tenant loans.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide credit research support through industry, peer, and company analyses.
- Prepares valuations, writes memorandums for private placements, and participates in due diligence and drafting sessions.
- Drafts presentation materials, pricings, and market updates.
- Supports a wide range of assets classes within Private Placements such as corporate debt, asset based securities, infrastructure debt, and credit tenant loans.
- Generates reports for management and tracks private placement portfolio performance.
- Works on a variety of live transactions and client-facing business initiatives related to private placements.

Base Pay Range: $65,600/yr. - $110,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
