POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of the Portfolio Management and Investment Consulting activity in the area of Private Debt, the candidate will have a vital role in a growing team building up our Middle East business out of our main office in Zurich.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish tools and systems to support the Portfolio Management team in performing the relevant analysis of the Private Debt portfolios for Middle East clients
- Using quantitative skills and relevant software packages to develop the tool for more efficient Portfolio Management and Monitoring
- Using the relevant Portfolio Management knowledge, support the Client Solutions team in consulting the Middle East clients with respect to their allocation to Private Debt
- Conduct project management tasks to support the Client Solutions team in Shariah-compliant investment solutions helping Stepstone to expand its business in the region
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong quantitative background: Master degree in mathematics, engineering or related area; ideal candidate would also have some courses attended in the area of finance
- Language: full proficiency (speaking, writing & reading) in Arabic as well French and English are a vital requirement for the position
- Having or pursuing a relevant certification – CFA, FRM, CAIA, etc.
- Proficiency in data processing software – Power BI, Python, R, Matlab, LabVIEW etc.
- Ability to conduct complex project management tasks
