Make an impact
We're looking for a Paralegal to join our legal team in the Salt Lake City area. In this role, you'll keep our fund and corporate team moving -- supporting day-to-day workflows, tracking legal data, and document coordination. You'll work closely with our legal team, outside counsel, and fund administration team to make sure documentation and records stay accurate and current. Additionally, part of your job will be helping us figure out how AI tools can take on more of the routine work over time.
- Support fund launch and ongoing capital raising activities by providing drafting support (PPMs and DDQs), maintaining files, and tracking covenants and obligations for financing, fund, and investor agreements.
- Complete KYC requests for Bridge entities and funds, track signing authority, incumbency matrices, and assist with maintaining entity records and files.
- Monitor and triage department inboxes (vendor contracts and NDAs), applying sound judgement on scoping and nature of requests, routing, and tracking status through resolution.
- Support subpoena response efforts under attorney direction, including gathering, organizing and redacting responsive documents.
- Manage document execution logistics -- e-signatures, mail processing, and folder upkeep.
- Process and review recurring invoices and flag billing errors.
- Maintain reference materials and the template/clause library so the team always has the current version on hand.
- Prepare weekly reports for company-wide dashboard.
- Explore and assist with implementing AI solutions to empower the team to work more efficiently and improve Legal’s service delivery to company stakeholders
What you should bring
- 1-3 years of paralegal experience in an in-house or law firm setting -- candidates early in their legal careers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a high volume of recurring tasks and compliance deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with entity records, invoices, and compliance tracking.
- Sound judgment handling confidential and privileged information.
- Comfort using, or quickly learning, legal tech and entity-management tools (e.g., e-signature platforms, timekeeping systems, entity/records databases).
- Comfortable formatting and incorporating changes into legal documents against templates with precision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills -- this role coordinates across teams and with outside vendors.
- Experience with AI tools in either a personal or professional capacity
What you can be part of
Our legal team, based in the Salt Lake City area, includes attorneys, paralegals, and operations staff supporting Bridge's real estate and credit fund platforms. While we partner with top law firms, we handle much of our fund and corporate legal work in-house, which keeps us closely involved in the details and lets us move quickly for our internal teams, investors, and fund entities. This role touches a wide range of workflows -- expect a real onboarding runway, with structured training and close support from the team as you build fluency across each subject area. You'll have support and mentoring as you grow into the role, along with a real hand in shaping how it evolves as we bring new tools online.

What We Do
Bridge Investment Group ("Bridge") is a leading, vertically integrated real estate investment manager, diversified across specialized asset classes, with approximately $38.8 billion of assets under management as of March 31, 2022. Bridge combines its nationwide operating platform with dedicated teams of investment professionals focused on select U.S. real estate verticals: residential rental, office, development, logistics properties, net lease and real estate-backed credit. Our in-depth knowledge of local markets, as well as our extensive real asset and capital markets expertise, enable us to develop prolific deal flow and to deploy active asset management and monitoring across our business lines. Our “owner-operator” perspective can generate deep capabilities to understand assets and source less-than-fully-marketed deal flow from industry participants. We target acquisitions and loans in growth markets where we maintain a strong local operating footprint and where we believe there are more opportunities for value-add investments, which allows us to build portfolios of investments individually asset by asset and target portfolio level premiums at exit. Our asset management strategy is specialized and focused in a way that emphasizes current income and capital appreciation while mitigating risk. By making improvements that build lasting communities, increase renter satisfaction, and ultimately bring value to investors, we seek to “create alpha” at the asset level.
