Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Banking Analyst to join our RAB team – with a focus on commercial lending. As a Business Banking Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Relationship Executives and providing valuable insights to help our clients succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a wide range of industries and possesses an analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and use our market-leading tools to assess risks and opportunities in lending and client credit.
  • Prepare written credit assessments for new and existing clients.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of client portfolios, ensuring compliance with CBA credit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Executives to develop tailored financial solutions for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing their financial needs and inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business banking, credit analysis, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
