Job Responsibilities: • Ensuring timely parts supply of all series purchased parts assigned to the area of responsibility from the supplier to the unloading location while complying with the defined stock range• Inventory management in the business unit: ensuring an appropriate data quality standard in the Supplier Management area and adjacent specialist areas• Complete autonomous monitoring and control of a defined production parts range from the supplier to the unloading location with special consideration of inventory levels as well as quality requirements• Works according to the work instruction Disposition Control Supplier Network, according to general purchasing guidelines and observes disposition rule processes• Responsible for the content of the defined parts scope• Timely parts disposition of the assigned purchased parts• Tracking of the material flow from the supplier to the arrival at the plant• Elaboration and analysis of production-critical parts• Organization of special trips for urgent parts• Optimization of stock range• Change management• Creation and processing of material issue notes• Minimization of surplus material• Processing and evaluation of complaint reports regarding logistic causes• Setting measures to achieve goals of the respective programs• Ensures consistency in subgroup operations in coordination with GL• Ensures that process and system changes are implemented in the subgroup• Management and control of the continuous improvement process in the subgroup• High Hurt Report: daily preparation• Excess & Obsolete Material: ensure/coordinate processing.• Complaints: Ensuring/coordinating the processing• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the defined group• Work scheduling and substitution planning of the defined group• Motivating, supporting, training, setting goals• Knowledge transfer to and between employees• Representation of Material Control in case of need• Processing of quality and logistic complaints in the complaints system quality platform• Creation and archiving of shipping orders and scrapping delivery notes• Execution of all material bookings in the Steyr Automotive System on the basis of supplier complaints (outgoing return delivery)• Execution of other material postings in the Steyr Automotive System on the basis of material requests (issue unplanned) according to the network plan in coordination with Controlling• Execution of system corrections in the Steyr Automotive System• Archiving of booking requests• Processing of internal rejects in the complaints system quality platform• Execution of scrap bookings in the Steyr Automotive System according to cost center plan• Creation, processing and archiving of scrapping requests and scrapping protocols• Carrying out of scrapping entries in the Steyr Automotive System (retirement scrapping) according to the network plan in coordination with Controlling• Contact person for questions of the adjacent departments Supplier Management/ Materials Management/ Plant• Materials & Process Engineering / Shipping / Controlling / Invoice Revision and Documentation• Monitoring of shipping orders with regard to adherence to delivery dates • Urgency of open complaints to the corresponding processors• Creation of statistics and reports to illustrate various developments• Diagnosing and analyzing system data and requirements with dispositive conspicuity in coordination with the customer system• Optimization of all records activities for the business unit, taking into account site specifications• Disposition of a certain amount of parts for production• Tracking of the material flow in cooperation with the transport department• Elaboration and analysis of production-critical parts with the help of available internal systems (MRP cockpit, mailboxes, shortages, bottleneck parts lists, delivery monitoring)• Set up of special transports• Direct telephone and written contact with suppliers (e.g. in case of delivery schedule deviations)• Change management: Coordination of part changes and new assignments with suppliers as well as urgency of assignment dates and contracts including discontinuation control of old parts• Presence in shift operation• Analysis and processing of production material that can no longer be used• Review of part changes in cooperation with documentation department and purchasing department• Corrections of ASN's in cooperation with corresponding internal departments and/or suppliers• Review and adjustment of transport parameters• Maintenance of delivery quotations and all related system adjustments• Logistical supplier assessment (CMIS)• Creation of complaints regarding logistical causes• Processing and evaluation of the entered complaint reports with regard to logistic causes• Forwarding of the processed logistic complaint reports to suppliers and monitoring of the processing (statements)• Request and follow-up of replacement deliveries for returned or scrapped material• Participate in various meetings (internal and with suppliers)• Escalating parts issues to commodity leader and leading or logging urgent calls• Participation in various meetings Education
