Job Responsibilities:
A Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of a company's critical enterprise data.
This position is responsible to ensure and maintain a high level of support corresponding to the team leads in all activities of the department and ensure active participation in the daily business of his/her functional responsibilities. Need an analytical, well-educated, knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated team-player with strong IT background, work ethic and integrity that will become a key part of IT-SAP Master Data Management Team to implement and provide adequate support for master data management SAP users globally. Knowledge of SAP MDG and SAP MDM is considered asset. Need to provide training to users if needed or requested. This role uses business knowledge, IT background, SAP concepts and good communication skills.
Major Responsibilities
- Data Governance & Standardization: Define and enforce rules, policies, and controls to ensure master data is complete and accurate across all business units.
- System Integration & Mapping: Understand how data flows from source systems into downstream platforms. Ensure cross-system compatibility and establish a reliable "single source of truth".
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME). Work with various departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, IT) to translate business requirements into technical data structures.
- Life-Cycle Management: Oversee the creation, updating, and archiving of master data entities within ERP or MDM platforms.
- Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge
- Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a high morale/high-performance team culture, consulting attitude and strong personal integrity.

- Perform a complete, detailed needs analysis evaluating available applications and identifying opportunities for enhancing existing systems
- Assist in the coordination and collaboration of external consultants (Customer & Suppliers) as well as internal team members
- Consult where requested for research and implementation assistance in regards to new
- Design practical, creative, conceptual technical solutions for business requirements balancing appropriate technology, cost and implementation timeline
- Develop and adhere to standards for design, coding, testing, change control, code deployment, software controls, configuration management, continuous integration, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application problems
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in MDM toolset (e.g. Knowledge of SAP MDG - Master Data Governance/MDM - Master Data Management/MDI) is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
- Previous experience in SAP implementation and development of SAP configurations is preferred
- Able to collaborate with users and have a strong desire to excel
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, good inter-personal skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI reporting is preferred.
- Analytical and flexible approaches in the projects and coordination of available resources
- High external and internal service orientation, initiative, creativity, diligence, accuracy, and social skills
- Excellent performance and organizational skills
Knowledge, Education and Work Experience
- Completion college diploma/certificate
- A minimum of 3 years working as a business analyst, systems analyst, systems training, systems design, technical support, or applications programming
- Knowledge of at least two of the MM/SD modules in SAP and have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Nice to have interface knowledge between modules such as MM/SD interaction with FI/CO
- Knowledge of SAP BRF (Business Rule Framework) is preferred.
- Involved in designing and configuring SAP finance solution on SAP S/4HANA platforms
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Experience in Automotive Industry is desirable
- Min 3 years of Master Data management experience is required.
Work Environment
Regular travel 10-25% of the time.
