Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the PLM Director in managing P&L and overall financial performance
- Track revenue and gross margin for the business
- Monitor sales activity and order backlog
- Assist with annual budgeting and 5-year planning
- Track monthly internal and external shipping results
- Help prepare business cases for R&D and CapEx investments
- Partner with sales and product marketing teams worldwide to track design-in opportunities
- Support sales in developing customer engagement plans and coordinating sample shipments
- Review customer requirements and work with the PLM Director to develop winning proposals — specs and pricing
- Support internal customers by tracking and updating in-feed development schedules
- Maintain product part numbers and datasheets
- Manage Product Change Notification (PCN) to the customers
- Assist in defining and driving product strategy
- Monitor the competitive landscape
- Prepare exhibition samples for industry shows and conferences
Education & Experience
- Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree
- Majors: Engineering or Business
- Experience with data analysis and AI tools is a plus
- Familiarity with core business concepts — P&L, gross margin, cost and pricing, business case development, and CapEx budgeting
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural, global team environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Working Conditions
This role will be based on-site in Fremont. Typical of a climate-controlled, professional office environment, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
