The Role

Position Summary

This role supports the Market Data Compliance team on Third-Party Provider data licensing requirements, supporting resolutions and mitigation of compliance issues relating to use of data provided. The role also supports the Audits team by providing the required information on data usage. The role will provide access to restricted customer information and will be a part of a small elite team that gives priority to confidentiality and quality.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide Information and advice on data licensing requirements to improve value for the company whilst mitigating risk associated with the process.
  • Provide detailed analysis for licensing requirements for vendor or client use.
  • Deliver work in support of leading compliance breaches, conducting and detailing root cause analysis of identified issues to feedback to the team.
  • Deliver work to support audit engagements with Third-Party data providers.
  • Provide required support to Rights Management and compliance queries from internal teams.
  • Develop expertise in Rights Management concepts and keeps up to date with data licensing developments and industry trends.
  • Develop relationships with internal customers to promote the flow of knowledge between teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Journalism etc.
  • Ability to work on US Shifts (17:30-02:30)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office applications.
  • Clear and well-articulated written and spoken English.
  • Flexibility and readiness to work on shifts
  • Ability to work independently on multiple activities, showing appropriate level of prioritization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to build relationships and to advise at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong project management skills, including being process oriented and highly organized.
  • To always maintain confidentiality.
