Job Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare and distribute reports, track costs, and perform duties required to help the team to prepare financial statements and the balance sheet. Collect and track data in support of tooling, capital, balance sheet and other financial metrics. Support the finance function in various planning, reporting, and forecasting capacities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to Controller & Finance Manager. Work to create, track, and close out fixed asset projects. Tooling cost tracking and comparison to approved budgets. Prepare audit schedules and support documentation. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting documentation required. Responsible for assisting in month end process, including journal entry preparation and financial analysis. Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Understand your responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. Cooperate with OSHA MIOSHA inspectors. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. Follow all safety rules. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately. Will not remove or make ineffective any protective device such as a guard, light curtain, etc. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment that the employee is not trained to operate. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment in a manner that may endanger any employee including themselves.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Detail oriented with ability to multi-task projects and prioritize multiple deadlines. Possess strong organizational and project management skills to provide necessary resources. Possess analytical skills and shows critical thinking capabilities. Competent in use of Microsoft Excel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.), in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent 1-3 years' experience in related field. Experience in automotive industry or manufacturing preferred.
