POSITION SUMMARY:

Cencora is looking for talented and ambitious people to join our Privacy Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Pune. The Privacy CoE oversees the Privacy Governance Framework through Privacy by Design, conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks, ensure timely completion of Data Subject Assessment Requests, and supports a range of other critical Privacy tasks.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the implementation of the global Privacy Governance Framework Conducts risk assessments, identifies controls or mitigations and works with stakeholders to embed across the enterprise Handles day-to-day privacy operations including incident management, mailbox monitoring, 3rd party due diligence, data protection queries, and cookie management Delivers Data Subject Access Requests in a timely and accurate manner Supports Written Standards, training and controls to embed the Privacy Governance Framework Monitors and oversees the implementation of the Privacy Governance Framework. Uses data to understand the effectiveness, identify pain points and drive action. Provides SME support to stakeholders Works as part of the Global Privacy Operations Team and collaborates effectively with Privacy Legal and the Office of Compliance Performs related duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Requires broad training in a related field of study generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of work experienceKeeps up to date with the latest Data Privacy, Digital and AI regulations and the potential impacts on the company
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent
  • One Trust Foundational or Expert Certification
  • Experience of working on GDPR, US Privacy regulations and other applicable regulations
  • Track record of working in global Privacy programmes including working knowledge of Privacy Assessment and Data Subject Access Management processes

Privacy Operations Lead
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and influencing skills to work with a broad range of business stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to articulate privacy concepts to a variety of audiences, educate stakeholders on privacy practices, and report on privacy matters to management. Adaptable and responsive to new privacy-related challenges. Proactive and resourceful self-starter Ability to effectively multi-task and demonstrate initiative to keep driving results. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Good at working in a matrix and managing ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment. Strong analytical skills Fosters a collaborative environment in working across various departments and functional teams. Focus on customers and patients. Ability to put the customer and patient at the heart of what we do. Advanced skills with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project preferred.

  • 6- 8 years of experience in Data Privacy, Privacy Operations
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field of study
  • Possible certifications - FIP, CIPP/E, CIPM, OneTrust, and BigID (preferred)
  • Hands-on work with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), CA Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) along with an extensive track record in executing organization-wide privacy compliance & governance tasks, including Privacy Impact and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  • Experience required:
  • Handling of day-to-day privacy operations and strategic Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIAs), including incident management, mailbox monitoring, data protection queries, and consolidating multiple DPIAs into single assessments for single business processes.
  • Evaluation and enhancement of an overall Data Protection, Data Privacy, and Responsible AI strategy for a client engagement.
  • Detail oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
