The Comcast Cooperative Educational Program (Co-op) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. Designed for students whose curriculum allows for a cooperative learning track, the co-op becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. Throughout the experience, there is an opportunity for exposure to mentorship and professional development while having some fun along the way.
Job Description
Comcast/Xfinity is looking for a detail-oriented Analyst of Growth Insights to support our growing Consumer Research & Insights function. This individual will support acquisition and retention (Broadband, Mobile, Entertainment, Home Security) and competitive intelligence insights, reporting into the Senior Manager of Growth Insights. This position will work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional partners across several teams.
Responsibilities include overseeing research projects from start to finish, collaborating with vendor partners, analyzing data, preparing report, and reporting research insights. The candidate will be working on a variety of topics such as: understanding consumers and our products; uncovering consumer needs and pain points; emerging trends in a highly competitive and ever changing business environment. This candidate must be prepared to execute, analyze, and report primary research and helping to translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Core Responsibilities:
Work with Consumer Research & Insights colleagues and business stakeholders to understand key questions and consumer research needs
Help to design, develop, and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects, supporting acquisition and retention (Broadband, Mobile, Entertainment, Home Security) and competitive intelligence
Help to manage external vendors throughout projects
Synthesize data and draft research results, key takeaways, and actionable insights through compelling storytelling (written and verbal)
Advise/recommend research methodologies to support Company initiatives
Other Consumer Research and Insights duties and responsibilities as assigned
Recommended Qualifications:
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Capability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable insights - helping stakeholders answer the question "what should the business do?"
Strong sense of urgency to deliver answers and consolidated POVs, working to get in-the-moment insights to drive real-time informed decisions
Experience in (or a willingness to learn about) the telecommunications industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
A can-do attitude - able to find solutions or work with larger team/company decisions
Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Previous experience or coursework (in exploratory, quantitative, and qualitative research) is a plus

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university that has a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months
