Primary Function:
Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for developing and communicating descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive algorithms and insights to solve BE Test Manufacturing challenges around yield, quality, and delivery. Use programming and statistical techniques to build and evaluate machine learning models to improve test operations processes and resolve root causes of product issues. Automate the machine learning pipeline, from data ingestion to prediction generation. Optimize and deploy machine/deep learning models for performance and scalability .
Education:
Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the semiconduction industry specifically on test manufacturing, product engineering, or software development
Experience on programming (SQL and Python are required)
Key Qualifications:
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; Six Sigma certification is a plus
Strong data management and coding skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present detailed analysis to a broad audience range
Ability to work collaboratively and build rapport with cross-functional groups
Passionate learner and mentor with commitment to personal growth
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements automated solutions for data cleaning and transformation
- Conducts proofs-of-concepts and simulations of statistical and machine learning algorithms
- Builds scalable statistical and machine learning models that will be deployed to production systems
- Develops metrics and tools to analyze errors and understand improvement opportunities of the machine learning solutions
- Collaborates closely with business process owners and other engineering teams to address test manufacturing challenges impacting cost, quality, and delivery metrics
- Presents high-level and detailed work to a large variety of stakeholders
- Keeps abreast of research advances in the field of machine learning, artificial intelligence and data analytics
