Job Description:

This job is responsible for analyzing and interpreting a client's credit worthiness, evaluating credit risks, and writing credit approval memos for acquisition financings. Key responsibilities include analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. Job expectations include underwriting tasks, such as financial modeling, other credit analysis and supporting key internal stakeholders to achieve successful execution of new transactions.
Our Leveraged Finance Credit – Acquisition Finance business represents Enterprise Credit in the acquisition financing underwriting process. The business underwrites transactions for both non-investment grade corporate acquisitions and financial sponsor leveraged buyouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze financings supporting corporate M&A and leveraged buyouts
  • Work as a deal team member alongside investment banking and capital markets colleagues to create approval documents and analysis for the credit approval process
  • Analyze clients’ financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards
  • Assists in the underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation, and closing of new transactions, while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Builds projection models based on historical performance, industry forecasts, and other due diligence findings
  • Conducts due diligence with clients

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 + yr  of financial analysis and financial modeling experience for Analyst role 2+ years of financial analysis and financial modeling experience for Associate role
  • Must have corporate credit, capital markets and/or investment banking experience
  • Must have experience explaining various assumptions made in financial models
  • Must be proficient with LBO modeling

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$85,000.00 - $92,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
