Analysis Technical Staff
Location: Tarboro NC, USA
The Analysis Technical Staff is responsible for supporting the analysis of automotive electronic failures from production and customer/field returns to the electrical component level by using various types of test equipment and utilizing product, electronics, & vehicle system knowledge.
Job Summary:
- Provides technical support of the product (automotive electronics) which may include reliability testing, design of experiments, vehicle testing, etc
- Ensuring daily activities meet Quality requirements
- Analysis of production rejects to the component level
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting methods to analyze assemblies to the component level
- Electrical background through schooling or employment
- Ability to read and understand specifications/contracts
- Well organized and deadline oriented.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
- Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Maintain Appropriate Records, analyze data, provide daily/monthly reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in repetitive manufacturing, prefer emphasis in electronics and/or automotive
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (acceptance criteria or workmanship for electronic assemblies)
- Interacts with various levels of associates within the company.
- Confirms new production proficiency levels meet company and customer goals and objectives
- Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and technical terminology
- Ability and passion to carry and communicate the Quality culture.
Education:
- 2 or 4 year College Degree in Related Engineering or Technical Field or equivalent experience and education
Skills Required
