Change the world. Love your job.
Join the APP-LP (Analog Power Products - Linear Power) team, where we push the boundaries of power management silicon. Our group manages an extensive and highly diverse product portfolio that spans precision voltage references, LDO's, sophisticated protection circuitry like eFuses and high-side switch controllers. Working within APP-LP means tackling unique engineering challenges across a wide spectrum of technologies, including high-speed switching and ultra-low-dropout (LDO) regulation. We build the fundamental building blocks that enable safe and seamless power delivery in any system architecture.
The High Side Switche and Controller product line is looking for analog design engineers who are experienced, highly driven and fast-learners to join their development team based in Bangalore, IN. We work on high voltage and high current ICs for Automotive and Industrial market. We develop cutting edge and highly differentiated products that push the boundaries of power density. This team has full product development responsibility from definition to productizing.
What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)
As a design engineer you will be expected to:
- Collaborate with design lead and system engineer in defining cutting edge products
- Develop circuit architectures for the IP blocks starting from datasheet / system specifications.
- Derive block level specifications and circuit architectures. You will be responsible for circuit implementation which not only meet the specifications, but work reliably and robustly while meeting high yields in production.
- Collaborate with chip-lead and layout engineers in developing floorplan and layout strategies for optimal implementaiton.
- Own block / module level verification of the blocks and participate/contribute in full chip level verification planning and execution.
- Develop design collaterals and deliver high quality design review documentation.
- Support the bench validation, testand product engineering teams in planning of their activities as well as actively participate in silicon bring-up and debug..
- Continuously challenge the status-quo and push the frontiers of technologies in collaboration with subject matter experts, while also driving new and improved circuit architectures/topologies and design flows and methodologies
- Work along with partner organizations such as process technology teams, packaging teams, EDA etc.
What can you expect to learn in this role? (Opportunity)
- Work on high growth, high impact domain of power-delivery systems.
- Push the limits of technology, be it process or packaging. Get to work with leading experts in the domain of process technology and packaging solutions, while working with circuit experts in developing full product solutions.
- Get exposure to full product life-cycle by co-location and collaboration with teams working on product definition to cross functional development and customer support, enabling development of broad-spectrum skills.

Texas Instruments Compensation & Benefits Highlights
The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Texas Instruments and has not been reviewed or approved by Texas Instruments.
-
Strong & Reliable Incentives — Profit sharing and annual bonuses are portrayed as a meaningful, formula-linked upside that can materially lift total earnings in strong years. An employee stock purchase plan with a discount further reinforces recurring, wealth-building incentives.
-
Retirement Support — A 401(k) match is described as a stable core benefit, with some references to additional legacy employer contributions and even pension-like elements for certain cohorts. This framing positions long-term savings support as a notable part of the overall rewards package.
-
Healthcare Strength — Medical coverage is depicted as broadly comprehensive, with preventive care and access to HSA/FSA features cited as value-adds. Company-seeded HSA contributions are repeatedly characterized as an important offset to the plan design for those enrolled.
