Job Description Summary:
ADI is seeking an Analog Design Engineer to design Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) in the Digital Healthcare – Vital Signal Monitoring team.
The position is based in the Catania Design Centre.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Design various High-density power modules using a variety of architectures
Will define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization
Work with the Layout, Test, Product, Packaging, QA, Marketing, and Evaluation engineers.
Write Datasheets, specifications, Application notes and test requirements documentation
Behavioral modeling of power module designs
Simulation utilizing the various simulation tools
The selection of the different components used in the module design, with magnetic design knowledge
Electrical bench analysis, datasheet characterization, and test correlation
Minimum Qualifications:
MSEE 1+ years Mixed Signal IC verification/design experience
Extensive experience using Cadence/Spectre
Ability to characterize, de-bug and troubleshoot your designs in the lab through hands on characterization
Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Demonstrable skills for quick ramp-up
Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Power IC background, and power module design
Proven experience working support teams through the complete development and release of module products is highly desirable
Experience in High Density Power Module design (System In Package)
Control Loop Analysis including hands-on experience with Matlab
Experience using SIMPLIS
Experience directing layout and filtering design to meet low noise
