The Americas Bioprocess Commercial DBS leader is responsible for leading, promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Cytiva Bioprocess in Americas, allowing those businesses to meet their Policy Deployment (PD), Core Value Driver (CVD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, by partnering with the Bioprocess Commercial L2 Leader, Bioprocess Marketing L2 Leader and Business Unit VP/GMs to architect and enable thoughtful deployment of DBS tools within the regional Commercial, Marketing and Business Unit leadership teams to ensure the organization accelerates growth and drives sustainable results.

This position reports to the Global Bioprocess Commercial DBS leader and is part of the Bioprocess Commercial organization and will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • Architect results through the thoughtful deployment of the DBS Commercial Engines and HVC, Commercial Playbook, SCR and DBS tools (i.e., Transformative Marketing, Go To Market, Funnel Management, Growth Room, etc.) regionally.
  • Use the 8 signs of leading with DBS to drive tangible improvement in CVD/KPIs across the regional Commercial leadership (Sales, Marketing, Business Units) aligned with the Bioprocess Commercial strategy and priorities.
  • Ensure impactful commercial kaizen events regionally by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process, including planning of kaizen events with a funnel review process tied to PD, CVDs and KPIs, kaizen event execution and sustainment of kaizens.
  • Drive DBS Fundamentals capability and culture into the regions, BUs and functions through the DBS Fundamentals playbook assessment and subsequent DBS Plan.
  • Partner with the regional Commercial leadership (Sales, Marketing, Business Units) to:
    • identify gaps in DBS capability/capacity based on the critical few prioritized business needs
    • manage the Certified Practitioner funnel for Bioprocess Commercial.
    • own the monthly Commercial L2 Ops and Marketing L2 Ops meetings. Ownership defined as:  Schedule, agenda, communication, material collection/consolidation/dissemination, meeting AP, etc.
  • Serve as an active sponsor for new Commercial L2 and L3 leaders with respect to DBS immersion. Provide coaching and mentoring on DBS tools and connect Bioprocess Commercial to additional resources (e.g. DBSO, DBS/CP community) to benchmark best practices.

Who you are:

  • BSc degree in Science, Strategic Management, Project Management, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial and/or DBS leader roles. Direct experience in working with commercial organizations to drive visibility and win-rate across end-markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view, and ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership experience and influencing skills, with success in driving results with DBS.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional teams with ability to work and execute across boundaries and matrices.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel > 50%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Demonstrated commitment to DBS Fundamentals, holding a CP (Certified Practitioner) or ACP (Advanced Certified Practitioner) in VSM (Value Stream Map), TPI (Transactional Process Improvement), PSP (Problem Solving Process), Daily Management, Transformative Marketing, Funnel Management, Growth Room.

The salary range for this role is $175,000-215,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
