We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join our newly created sub-practice, dedicated to serving a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. This role requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, focusing on advancing the client's agenda. Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing workflows, macros, data validation, transformations, and cleansing using Alteryx Designer.
- 10+ years of data integration experience, including writing complex SQL queries and building federated queries across SQL, NoSQL, APIs, CSV, Excel, Parquet, SharePoint Lists, and email repositories.
- 7+ years of development experience in Python (required), and either Java or JavaScript.
- Strong experience integrating with Alteryx APIs and deploying components to Alteryx Server and Gallery.
- Proven ability to automate GitLab CI/CD pipelines for Alteryx workflow deployment, testing, and dependency management.
- Practical experience managing Git branches using best practices.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda functions using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience building reusable processes that can be standardized across multiple data flows.
- Ability to monitor existing Alteryx workflows and ensure performance and stability.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce high- and low-level technical design and solution specs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Alteryx workflows and data connections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWK or Bash/Shell scripting.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services such as AWS Glue, Athena, S3, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience contributing to agile squads throughout the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), including coding, testing, and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to increase delivery velocity.
- Willingness to act as a cross-functional team member as needed.
- Participation in a community of practice or internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Nice to Haves:
- Alteryx Expert Certification (required or equivalent experience).
- Python Certification (preferred).
- AWS Developer Certification (preferred).
The base salary range is - $165,000-$185,000
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
