We are seeking an experienced and client-oriented professional to help drive the development and commercialization of our Alternative Investments platform within Santander Private Banking, Switzerland. The role combines client advisory, product strategy, and lifecycle management, with a strong focus on growing assets under management, deepening client engagement, and enhancing our alternative investments offering.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving AuM growth and increasing penetration in alternative investments, while ensuring the effective end-to-end delivery of private markets solutions, including close coordination with internal stakeholders.
This position is well-suited to a professional who is equally comfortable engaging with sophisticated clients and relationship managers and driving cross-functional execution to bring solutions to market efficiently. Fluent English and Spanish required, with Brazilian Portuguese a plus.
Profile
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience
CAIA and/or CFA designation preferred
CWMA certification required
Solid understanding of private markets (PE, private credit, real estate, hedge funds)
Experience in alternative investments within private banking, asset management, or advisory
Strong client-facing and commercial mindset, with ability to translate complex strategies into actionable client solutions
Proven ability to drive product adoption and AuM growth
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Hands-on and execution-driven, comfortable managing the operational and administrative aspects of the role, including coordination across functions (legal, compliance, operations) and supporting product approval processes
Ability to navigate internal stakeholders and drive processes forward across the organization
Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven
Languages: English & Spanish a must. Portuguese & French a plus
