We are looking for an experienced Business Owner to lead our Algo (API) vertical at Delta Exchange. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of derivatives as a product and a proven track record in driving growth and strategic initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and external partners to scale the Algo trading business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy & Growth:
- Oversee integrations with third-party platforms from a commercial standpoint.
- Develop and execute growth initiatives to expand the Algo trading business.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance Delta Exchange’s API offerings.
- Product & Technology Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product & Engineering teams to ensure seamless API functionality and enhancements.
- Define key business requirements and prioritize feature development based on market needs.
- Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for improvement in Algo trading services.
- Monitor competitor activities and position Delta Exchange's API offerings competitively.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with institutional traders, hedge funds, and retail algo traders to understand their needs.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for API users.
- 5-8 years of experience in financial markets, with a focus on derivatives, trading, or API-based products.
- Strong understanding of Algo trading, APIs, and institutional trading platforms.
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or growth strategy in a trading/fintech environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
