Structured Finance and Asset Backed Securities (SFABS) overview:
Alantra is established as the best in class, independent advisor in Structured Finance and Asset Backed Securities (SFABS) to banks, non-bank lenders and corporates across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Our approach builds on a deep understanding of the underlying assets to be securitised (or funded) and market leading analytical capabilities gained as a leading credit portfolio advisor.
Our experience spans the full range of credit assets from distressed loans to performing corporate receivables to real estate owned assets. The team bring extensive market knowledge and placement capabilities across the credit spectrum and provide independent and unconflicted advice to our clients.
The SFABS team comprises senior professionals dedicated to Securitisation and Structured Finance transactions, and our global CPA footprint, including local knowledge from its in-country credit experts.
Role Description:
Currently we are looking for a Senior Associate or VP with 4-6 years of experience in Secured Finance and Asset Backed Securities, with experience in all types of securitizations and synthetic. A hardworking professional, fully committed with the team and the relevant projects
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Native in Spanish.
- English as a second language with fluent speaking and writing.
- Strong communication skills.
- To be based in Madrid.
- Experience in synthetic, important, and all types of securitizations.
- Candidate needs to be fluent in securitisation regulation.
- Focused on the Iberian market but he/she should be able to cover other countries.
- 4-6 years of experience in the sector.
- Strong and independent modelling capabilities: python modelling a plus.
- Good relationship with rating agencies.
- Able to independently read legal documentations.
- Valuation capabilities will be needed.
- Strong interest in the FIG sector.
- Cooperative and with strong capabilities working with a Team.
