Job Summary: Purpose and Scope:
Every day, Client Success Specialists play a critical role in supporting some of the most complex and impactful challenges in FinTech. By working closely with experienced teams and clients across the Aladdin ecosystem, you will learn to deliver proactive, high-quality service that drives client satisfaction and loyalty. Our team is passionate about problem-solving, learning, and delivering value—and we welcome new graduates excited to build their careers at the intersection of finance and technology.
As a Client Experience Analyst, you will be part of a high-performing global team that supports client relationships, promotes effective use of our products, and contributes to overall business outcomes. Through structured learning, mentorship, and on-the-job experiences, you’ll gain exposure to client service, investment technology, and the fundamentals of relationship management. Over time, your work will directly contribute to our commercial success by helping retain and grow client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Experience Support
Serve as a key team member in addressing day-to-day client queries and resolving issues. Learn to build strong working relationships by delivering responsive and thoughtful service. Shadow client interactions and gradually participate in calls to understand their needs, challenges, and business workflows.
Service Delivery with Commercial Exposure
Learn how strong service delivery drives client satisfaction and business retention. Support senior team members in identifying engagement opportunities and understanding how service contributes to long-term client value and revenue impact.
Client Insight & Industry Learning
Begin to develop a foundational understanding of the investment management industry and Aladdin’s role in client workflows. Stay curious about market dynamics and use learnings to support the team in delivering tailored client support.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams—including Product, Engineering, and Implementation—to support client initiatives and troubleshoot issues. Learn how internal teams work together to deliver a seamless client experience and ensure feedback loops are in place.
Technical & Analytical Skill Development
Start building technical skills by learning tools such as Python, SQL and UNIX, with guidance from experienced team members. Use these tools to help analyze data, understand system behavior, and support issue resolution. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn.
Professional Growth & Contribution
Participate in training programs, mentorship, and peer-learning sessions to build product knowledge and strengthen your client service capabilities. Embrace feedback and contribute to team discussions and initiatives. This role is a springboard for future growth in client-facing, product, or technical roles within FinTech.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills(English& Japanese), including the ability to synthesize complex methodologies and analytical content into clear messages
Passion for client service, problem-solving, and working at the intersection of technology and finance
Quantitative coursework and willingness to learn technical tools such as Python, SQL and UNIX (prior exposure is a plus but not required)
A team-first attitude, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Curios and self-motivated with a passion to learn about financial markets and risk management concepts along with a desire to grow within a fast-paced and evolving industry.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and quantitative skills, intellectual curiosity and ability to partner across geographies
Meticulous attention to detail, structured approach to sophisticated analysis and strong sense of initiative and ownership
Understanding of the banking and financial sector, balance sheet, regulations, and economics concepts is a plus
Professional Certifications such as CFA, FRM or progress towards them is a plus

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
