This position is responsible for leading the Network Planning, Design and Implementation for backbone network ensuring optimum coverage and capacity.
This position is responsible for leading the Network Design, upgrade from technical devices specification requirements and Implementation for all new networks as well as changes to existing designs.
- Plan and modify FTTH network design in AutoCAD (last mile).
- Create and modify an FTTH network in QGIS (last mile).
- Plan, implement and manage network changes and technically support implemented network.
- Developing and/or reviewing technical network implementation plans.
- Create a feasibility study for the backbone sites.
- Create and modify FTTH network design in QGIS (last mile, SUB Ring, Metro, BB expansion, Customer Connection).
- Support proposals and projects planning
- Collect from site all necessary information and prepare Progress Reports.
- Coordinate with the Site Planning Engineers
- Survey and plan for EarthLink buildings.
- Create Shop drawing notebook for FTTH Project and BB.
- Search for equipment that relates to our work to in hence the project. Also search for any update in the programs that we use to make the progress of the work faster and more accurate Create Reports and Presentations using MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and any related program.
- Process work files to be operated in QGIS, AutoCAD and Google Earth.
- Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage.
- Drawing plans; using specialized design software packages.
- Ensuring plans meet the client’s specifications
- Making estimations for timescales and costs
- Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
- Create or modify in QGIS to make it accurate and to be implemented at less cost.
- Upload Data to the server and modify it.
- Survey sites to get missing information about it.
- Complete any job assigned by the team leader and finish it in time.
- Develop network capacity plans and sizing recommendations based on forecasts from marketing.
- Handle tasks related to Upgrade of Network if reaching capacity.
- Evaluate and implement network changes to support the growth and stability of the core network.
- Provide analysis of Site planning (site estimation and which area).
- Study and plan for new sites.
- Study and plan for Redistribution points.
- Prepare weekly reports as requested from Management.
- Provide support for administration issues for FTTH project.
- Understand the related standards, specifications, and physical layout of the network technology in use in order to properly plan and troubleshoot any networking issues.

- B.Sc in Mechanic, communication, Electronic Engineering or related .
- Good knowledge in MS Office
- Good knowledge in AutoCad program
- Good knowledge in Qgis program
- Good knowledge in FTTH Network
