Valiant is looking for a Air Mobility Division (AMD) Team Assistant Lead to join our team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Air Mobility Team Leader by leading, training and supervising a highly skilled team of three Air Mobility Support SMEs in a high OPTEMPO operational environment within the limits of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Responsible for multi-service air integration into JRTC scenarios. Participates in rotational planning meetings in order to assist the US Air Force 34th Combat Training Squadron (CTS) integrate Air Mobility requests, Airborne insertions of paratroopers and cargo, Airland operations and other requirements supporting JRTC rotations.
- Responsible for replicating the functions of a USAF Air Mobility Division as part of the Air Operation Center (AOC) including the production of ATOs, ACOs and SPINS, processing pre-planned Airlift requests, tracking all air mobility operations and Airland deliveries, and writing mission analyses of those missions.
- Responsible for precise Data Collection from all USAF flights and operations, conducts briefings as required, and assists the Air Force in constructing Situational Reports (SITREPS) and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years' experience in the employment of military air, airlift-air mobility operations, capabilities and responsibilities.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with JRTC operations highly desired.
- Experience in numbered Air Force or higher headquarters / Joint Military Air operations.
- Experience working in an USAF Air Operations Center/BDE Headquarters or equivalent JRTC experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of experience in military air, airlift, or air mobility operations, capabilities, and responsibilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Active Secret security clearance
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug screening
- Ability to travel unaccompanied to continental U.S. and foreign locations
- Experience with JRTC operations
- Experience in a numbered Air Force or higher headquarters or joint military air operations
- Experience working in a USAF Air Operations Center, brigade headquarters, or equivalent JRTC environment
