To help eCommerce business owners scale their businesses with more cash and less stress.
This requires a broad range of skills, including financial modeling, risk management, understanding of US/Canadian GAAP, financing, audit, investor relations, and more.
We are small but growing fast, which means you will get the chance to specialize and grow into future roles such as AI Director or Automation Architect.
Lastly, as you might expect of a finance company, we work hard when we need to, but we don’t work hard just for the sake of it. We don’t miss our kids’ concerts, we work out during the day, and we usually sign off early on Fridays.
About the position
You will lead the implementation of AI and automation solutions for our business and our clients.
You will work on internal and client projects including:
- Creating AI agents
- Replacing manual workflows with AI and automation
- Integrating disparate systems to create sources of intelligence (eg. Meta, Quickbooks, Google, etc)
Time Zone
You will need to work in the Vancouver or Toronto, Canada time zone.
AI Development and Implementation
- Export and process data from emails, Slack, and meeting transcripts.
- Train AI models to provide accurate and contextually relevant responses.
Workflow Analysis and Integration
- Replace manual workflows with automation and AI
- Create integrations between platforms like QuickBooks, Facebook, Instagram, and other APIs.
Automation and Reporting
- Develop automation systems to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Design and implement reporting systems with AI-driven insights.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, finance team, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and adoption of AI tools.
What you must have
- Proven experience developing AI/ML solutions and workflow automation.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with APIs and integrating diverse systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Your experience and education
- Experience building and training AI agents for real-world applications.
- Proven track record in process automation and data analysis.
