Join the Trade and Working Capital (T&WC) Business!
As the AI Use Case Business Lead (VP), within T&WC, you will serve as the owner of the AI use case book of work across Trade and Working Capital, responsible for interfacing with all business functions to enable product development, commercialization, and productivity AI applications. This role is accountable for translating business needs into clear technical requirements through close partnership with central AI, data science, and technology teams, and for driving end-to-end delivery from ideation through value realization.
Job responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end AI use case book of work across Trade and Working Capital, from ideation through delivery and value realization
- Serve as the primary interface between business functions and central AI, data science, and technology teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements
- Drive AI enablement across product development, commercialization, and internal productivity use cases, managing delivery from concept through adoption
- Lead use case prioritization using a structured framework that weighs business value, data readiness, feasibility, and strategic alignment
- Champion upskilling and AI literacy initiatives within the business to build capability and accelerate adoption across functions
- Link Trade and Working Capital AI priorities to firmwide AI initiatives and enterprise programs, ensuring product-specific requirements are properly represented and addressed
- Partner with the Data and Infrastructure Lead to ensure data foundation, governance, and tooling needs for AI use cases are identified and sequenced into the infrastructure roadmap
- Track and communicate portfolio progress, value realization, and lessons learned to senior leadership and stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated ability to define, prioritize, and manage an AI or advanced analytics use case pipeline within a complex, matrixed financial services organization
- Strong business acumen in trade finance, transaction banking, or corporate banking with the ability to identify and size high-impact AI opportunities
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and partnering effectively with data science, AI engineering, and technology teams
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI, and large language model applications sufficient to engage credibly with technical specialists and challenge assumptions
- Proven stakeholder management across business functions, product, technology, and senior leadership in a global environment
- Track record of leading upskilling or change management programs to drive adoption of analytical or AI-enabled capabilities
- Strong prioritization and program management skills across a multi-workstream portfolio with competing demands
- Ability to connect business-specific initiatives to enterprise governance frameworks, responsible AI standards, and firmwide delivery programs

- Direct experience with AI or advanced analytics product development in trade finance, transaction banking, or wholesale banking
- Familiarity with firmwide AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or model risk management practices
- Experience working with data science or AI engineering teams in an agile or product delivery model
- Experience in commercial or product strategy roles with exposure to AI-driven revenue generation or efficiency use cases
- Prior experience operating across multiple geographies in a global banking environment
