AI System Readiness Vice PresidentThe Vice President of AI System Readiness plays a pivotal role in preparing Accordion’s enterprise environments, data, and processes for AI enablement. Reporting directly to the AI Enablement Lead, this role bridges the gap between technology infrastructure, data architecture, and AI activation—ensuring the foundation is set for intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and generative AI capabilities.
This leader will guide how structured and unstructured data is stored, accessed, and contextualized for AI use across tools such as Glean, ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Zoom AI. The VP will collaborate closely with Data, Infrastructure, Security, and BI teams to ensure enterprise systems are AI-ready—balancing innovation with governance and scalability. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of data architecture and enterprise environments, combined with the strategic thinking required to translate AI readiness into measurable business impact.
This position must be based in our New York office and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.

What You’ll Do:AI System Readiness Leadership
- Define and lead strategy to make enterprise systems and data AI-ready
- Establish technical standards for data accessibility, contextualization, and AI interoperability
- Conduct readiness assessments across infrastructure, data, and process domains
- Partner with IT leadership to prepare cloud environments for AI workloads
Data Enablement & Governance
- Work with BI, Data, and Security teams to ensure data is unified, accessible, and well-governed
- Develop frameworks for metadata tagging, indexing, and contextualization
- Promote data consistency across enterprise systems (DealCloud, NetSuite, ClickUp)
- Support compliance and data privacy standards aligned with AI governance
Infrastructure & Integration
- Ensure infrastructure and APIs support high-performance AI workloads
- Connect systems used by AI platforms like Glean and CoPilot
- Define best practices for securely integrating AI APIs and external tools
- Own AI Interaction architecture (semantic tool router, MCP/API wrapper, multi-channel layer, etc.)
Measurement & Cost Modeling
- Define and track KPIs that measure environment readiness and AI maturity
- Own AI cost modeling: compute costs, API volumes, data pipeline expenses, infrastructure tradeoffs
- Manage ongoing delivery of the measurement platform (dashboards, data pipes, reporting framework) supporting portfolio-level KPI tracking and AI usage/adoption
Security & Governance
- Collaborate with Security on compliance and governance
- 6–10 years experience in enterprise IT, data architecture, or technology enablement
- Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience preparing systems/data for AI: embeddings, knowledge graphs, contextual retrieval
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Familiarity with enterprise AI tools (Claude, Glean, ChatGPT, CoPilot, Zoom AI, etc)
- Experience delivering monitoring and measure platforms.
- Knowledge of metadata management, APIs, and interoperability standards
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or related technical field

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $100,000 to $180,000 + benefits + bonus.
Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
