Job Overview: We are seeking an AI Specialist with deep expertise in large language models (LLMs), focused on fine-tuning and deploying these models for cybersecurity applications. In this role, you will combine your knowledge of AI with low-level programming (primarily C) to optimize systems for security purposes, focusing on performance, efficiency, and real-time threat detection. Your efforts will directly contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions that address the most pressing cybersecurity challenges today.


Key Responsibilities:


- LLM Fine-Tuning & Model Development: Fine-tune and train large language models (LLMs), such as GPT and BERT, for specific offensive cybersecurity applications.

- C Programming for Cybersecurity Systems: Develop and optimize low-level code in C for high-performance components of AI-driven cybersecurity systems. Focus on optimizing AI model inference and ensuring the efficient handling of security relevant data.

- Integration of AI with Developers: Collaborate with developers to integrate fine-tuned LLMs into existing workflows.

- Data Handling & Preprocessing: Work with large datasets, including open and closed-source software repositories for model tuning.

- Model Deployment & Performance Optimization: Deploy models into production environments with a focus on scalability and real-time performance. 

- Cybersecurity-Specific NLP Tasks: Use LLMs to address cybersecurity-specific task .

- Research & Innovation: Continuously explore new techniques in both cybersecurity and AI to innovate and improve security systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLMs and low-level system optimizations for real-time AI applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs): Proven experience in fine-tuning and optimizing large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5) for cybersecurity use cases. Deep knowledge of how to leverage these models for offensive cyber NLP tasks.
  • Proficiency in C Programming: Extensive hands-on experience in low-level programming, particularly in C.
  • Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience using machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, etc., for model training and fine-tuning.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of core offensive cyber topics.
  • Data Engineering & Preprocessing Skills: Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature extraction, and working with large datasets, with experience using tools like NumPy, pandas, and SQL.
  • AI Model Deployment & Monitoring: Experience deploying AI models in production, with an emphasis on performance optimization and monitoring for real-time systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for model deployment.
  • Performance Optimization in C: Experience optimizing algorithms and code in C for maximum performance, particularly in handling high-throughput data and reducing latency in security-critical applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and stream processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with other low-level languages (C++, Rust) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and encryption techniques.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and how to apply them in AI systems.
