We're looking for an AI Solutions Engineer who combines curiosity with execution and technology with business insight. Someone who doesn't just follow developments in AI but actively explores, challenges, and shapes them. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to understand their business challenges, identify where AI can create value, and translate those insights into practical, scalable solutions.

As a trusted advisor, you'll facilitate workshops, engage with stakeholders, and guide customers throughout their AI journey; from discovery and ideation to implementation and adoption. You'll design prompts, build intelligent agents, integrate LLMs into real business processes, and ensure every solution delivers measurable business impact.

In this role, you will directly influence our strategy, tooling, and delivery approach while working with cutting-edge technologies across a wide range of enterprise projects.

We're accelerating our AI capabilities, and we're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business opportunities and technical execution. Someone who enjoys working with clients just as much as building AI-powered solutions. As our AI Solutions Engineer, you will prototype, launch, and refine AI agents, copilots, intelligent automations, and internal tools, while helping define how CLEVR delivers AI, from the technologies we use to the delivery patterns we establish.

You'll work alongside consultants, architects, and engineers while acting as a trusted advisor to customers. You'll help them identify AI opportunities, shape their AI roadmap, and translate business challenges into practical solutions that deliver measurable impact. You'll do this in a culture that values initiative, experimentation, and impact over bureaucracy, with hybrid working from our modern Amersfoort office. Ready to take on the challenge?

What you bring to the table 

• 2–6 years of experience building software, automations, or AI-powered applications in real-world environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a builder mindset, and the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions. Experience in a client-facing or consultancy role is highly valued.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and designing, building, and deploying AI solutions, including agents, copilots, and other real-world applications across client work, product teams, and personal projects.
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript are a must, and Python is preferred.
• Experience in Git and/or being able to set up pipelines in GitHub
• Experience with TanStack, Convex, and terminal is a plus.
• Experience integrating solutions through APIs, webhooks, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools and frameworks such as Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, not only using the tools but also using tools to set up and maintain AI coding workflows.
