As part of our ongoing tech modernisation initiative, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on AI Solutions Architect – Process Optimisation. In this role, you will lead the charge in transforming business and technical workflows across our organisation using cutting-edge Agentic AI and modern automation architectures.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will work at the intersection of process design, software engineering, and AI capabilities—designing intelligent workflows, automating legacy manual tasks, and upskilling cross-functional teams to embrace AI-driven efficiencies.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Drive Process Discovery & Optimisation: Partner with Engineering, IT Operations, and key business stakeholders to analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and uncover high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and process improvement.
  • Design & Deliver Intelligent Automation Solutions: Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered workflows and intelligent agents using a combination of custom software development and low-code/no-code automation platforms.
  • Champion AI Adoption: Lead the organisation's AI capability by mentoring, coaching, and empowering team members in AI best practices, prompt engineering, and agentic technologies to foster a culture of continuous innovation.
  • Enable Business Productivity: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify repetitive manual processes and implement practical AI and automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Establish AI Governance & Best Practices: Ensure all AI and automation initiatives adhere to organisational security standards, data privacy requirements, and robust Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, while promoting scalable and maintainable solutions.

Your required experience and skills:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for driving AI adoption across the organisation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions, AI agents, and LLM-powered workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with both software development and low-code/no-code automation platforms such as n8n, Celigo, Zapier, or Google Apps Script.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, APIs, system integrations, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Proven ability to analyse, redesign, and optimise business processes through automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and change management capabilities, with a passion for enabling others to adopt AI technologies.
  • Experience working within AI governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks is highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Positive attitude with a solution-focused approach in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments as needed

WORKING LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

This role works in a WORK-FROM-HOME SETUP and in order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:

  • conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
  • main internet: wired internet of at least 100mbps
  • reliable back up internet: at least 20mbps speed
