About Job
We are seeking a senior, well-rounded leader to head our AI Solution Engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving the design, implementation, and scaling of human-in-the-loop AI annotation workflows. You will lead a global team of engineers, coach them toward technical and delivery excellence, and manage complex stakeholder relationships across regions and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a globally distributed team of AI Solutions Engineers
- Drive the technical execution of scalable, high-performance AI annotation workflows
- Coach engineers on best practices, architecture fundamentals, and delivery maturity
- Own stakeholder relationships across product, engineering, and delivery teams
- Translate business needs into actionable engineering plans and outcomes
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and scalability
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in tooling and workflow design
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, preferably in AI/ML or data-centric environments
- Deep understanding of human-in-the-loop systems, annotation tooling, and AI workflows
- Strong organizational leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams
- Comfortable operating independently in a different region/time zone, with a strong ownership mindset
- Excellent communicator with strategic thinking and execution focus
What You Bring
- Strong experience with AI/ML systems and human-in-the-loop workflows
- Deep understanding of HITL annotation tooling and schema design
- Solid coding skills in Python and working with APIs
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with data pipelines and scalable engineering practices
- Proven ability to apply UX principles to annotation tool design for usability and efficiency
