BLN24 is looking for an AI Software Engineer to join our team. 
We are seeking a skilled AI Software Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI), including the integration and optimization of Large Language Models (LLMs) for chatbot applications. This role supports our ongoing efforts to design, develop, and implement innovative AI solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making processes. In this role, you will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and availability. Responsibilities include building AI-powered chatbots using LLMs to provide real time answers to queries, assist on data ETL workflows and collaborating with cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-powered chatbots using LLMs to provide real-time answers to queries on educational data, while developing and integrating user-friendly, responsive frontend interfaces that ensure seamless, accessible, and dynamic user interactions.
• Develop robust prompts and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to enable accurate, context-aware chatbot responses.
• Integrate LLM-based solutions into existing platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Assist monitoring solutions to track the health, performance, and data flow to proactively address anomalies and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, build data products and improve backend systems to support big data storage and data-driven solutions.
• Understand hybrid and multi-cloud architectures and developing managed serverless and unmanaged microservices within complex cloud environments.
• Experience developing AWS Step Functions with AWS lambdas and/or Spring/Spring Boot microservices
• Experience developing and deploying containerized solutions and knowledge of containerized orchestration.

Required Skills/Abilities & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering and AI/ML solutioins
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, SQL and React
• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data processing tools.
• Working experience with APIs for data integration and interaction with external systems.
• Expertise in PowerShell for scripting, automation, and managing deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Exposure to neural networks, machine learning models, and MLOps methodologies is a plus.
• Competence in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments.
