We are looking for a dynamic AI Project Manager who can drive end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives using agile, agentic, and modern project management practices.
Role Overview
The AI Project Manager (AI PM) will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of AI and digital transformation projects. The role requires a blend of project management expertise, AI awareness, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams alike. The AI PM will ensure alignment across product, engineering, and business functions to deliver high-impact AI solutions on time and within scope.
This role also offers the flexibility to act as a Product Owner when required, ensuring that business vision and technical implementation stay closely aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI and automation project lifecycles from initiation to delivery using Agile, Scrum, and agentic development methodologies.
- Define, manage, and track project plans, milestones, and deliverables for AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and AI teams to ensure effective scope management and prioritization.
- Drive daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain team velocity and focus.
- Work closely with AI engineers, testers, and data scientists to ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
- Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and ensure proactive mitigation.
- Manage stakeholder communication, governance, and reporting for senior client leadership.
- Support AI project roadmapping, backlog grooming, and cross-functional coordination across build, test, and deployment streams.
- Ensure consistent usage of project tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and other collaboration platforms.
- Champion AI-aware delivery practices — enabling agentic workflows, prompt iteration, and intelligent task management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–12 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in AI, analytics, or digital transformation domains.
- Proven experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies; Scrum certification preferred.
- Exposure to AI project delivery, including LLMs, automation, or data-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile lifecycle tools.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end delivery processes — from ideation through build, test, and deployment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to engage C-level and business leaders confidently.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams spanning AI, product, UX, and engineering disciplines.
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with AI concepts, terminologies, and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, MCP, agentic AI, Autogen).
- Prior experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across AI, data, and software engineering.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- Capability to operate as a Product Owner and bridge business–technology objectives.
- Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills with an “out-of-the-box” approach to problem solving.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, or AI Project Management credentials preferred.
