Behind the title
As our new AI Programme Director, you will create and lead the Programme Management Office for efficient delivery of strategic AI initiatives, supporting the VP of BIDMA in defining future operating model post programme completion.
Additionally, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide strategic guidance and performance reporting to senior management
  • Drive strategic programme planning and scope management
  • Lead the development and maintenance of programme processes
  • Collaborate with theme owners and epic teams to progress execution
  • Act as a change agent and drive continuous improvements
  • Prepare, coordinate and facilitate steering committee meetings
  • Coordinate compliance with programme governance and quality requirements


As the Programme Director, it is important to prioritize responsibilities to ensure efficient delivery of the value assurance programme. Responsibilities can be delegated to the team members and priorities set based on the urgency and impact of each task. As a champion for the programme, you should constantly look for opportunities to improve upon it.
What we scout for
We imagine the successful candidate to meet the following criteria:

  • 10+ years' experience with Digital Transformation Projects, Programme Management and/or Programme Management support, and business consulting
  • Experience with leading upwards (SVP-level), building relationships and credibility, in a large organisation
  • Proven ability to understand and translate technical terminology, and challenge technical decisions, especially in Azure solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, in an international setting, preferably having spent some time working abroad
  • Previous experience working in Agile or Scrum, would be beneficial
