About Adit:

Adit is a practice management and patient engagement platform for medical practices across the US and Canada. We handle the operational backbone of a practice: scheduling, patient communication, payments, analytics, and marketing, integrated directly with the EHR systems practices already run on.

The role:

  • We're building a suite of AI products that take on the phone and messaging work that front desk does all day. That spans both directions: AI that answers inbound patient calls and handles what happens next, and AI that reaches out to patients who need to come back in.
  • You'll own product for this area. Our AI talks to real patients over voice and SMS, understands what they want, and acts on it, all inside the constraints of HIPAA, TCPA, state AI-disclosure laws, and Canadian CRTC rules.
  • It is one of the most technically and operationally interesting parts of our product. The AI is only half the problem. The other half is the workflow around it: what the system does with each conversation, when it escalates to a human, what the practice sees afterward, and copy that has to be legally precise and still sound human.

What you'll own:

  • Conversation behavior: what the agent says, how it handles intent, and where it hands off to staff
  • Workflow logic: what happens after a call or text, how outcomes are recorded, and how work routes to the right person at the practice
  • Practice-facing surfaces: the dashboards and activity views front desk staff use to trust and audit what the AI did on their behalf
  • Copy and disclosure specs: patient-facing language across voice and SMS, including the disclosures required in each jurisdiction
  • Compliance requirements as product requirements: turning regulatory constraints into concrete, shippable behavior rather than a legal footnote
  • You'll work directly with engineering, QA, design, and our US-facing customer success and sales teams. You will spend real time listening to call recordings and reading transcripts. That's where most of the good product decisions come from.

Required Experience

  • 2-3 years in product management at a software company, ideally B2B SaaS
  • You write clearly. Specs, decision docs, and copy are a large part of this job
  • You can hold an ambiguous problem, reduce it to the simplest thing that works, and say plainly what you're choosing not to build
  • Comfort with data: you can pull your own numbers, read a funnel, and tell a real signal from noise
  • You can work with engineers on system behavior, not just screens. State machines, edge cases, and "what happens if the patient replies halfway through" should feel like your kind of problem
  • Overlap with US business hours for part of the week

Strong plus

  • Voice AI, conversational AI, chatbots, or contact center and telephony products
  • US healthcare: EHR, RCM, patient engagement, or provider-facing tools
  • Communication products: CRM, sales engagement, campaign tooling, or anything involving SMS and calling at scale
  • Any experience shipping in a regulated environment where copy and consent are constrained

How we work

  • We're biased toward the simplest solution that solves the actual problem. We reuse existing infrastructure over building new. We prefer a decision made this week over a perfect one made next quarter, and we write down why we decided it. If you like owning a product end to end and talking to the people who use it, this will suit you.

Skills Required

  • 2-3 years of product management experience at a software company, ideally B2B SaaS
  • Strong written communication skills for specifications, decision documents, and product copy
  • Ability to manage ambiguous problems and make clear product tradeoffs
  • Comfort working with data, pulling metrics, analyzing funnels, and distinguishing signal from noise
  • Ability to work with engineers on system behavior, state machines, and edge cases
  • Availability to overlap with US business hours part of the week
  • Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, chatbots, contact center, or telephony products
  • Experience with US healthcare, EHR, revenue cycle management, patient engagement, or provider-facing tools
  • Experience with communication products such as CRM, sales engagement, campaign tooling, SMS, or calling at scale
  • Experience shipping products in a regulated environment with constrained copy and consent requirements
