What you'll be doing

The AI Operations Manager will function as the operational backbone for the CAIO, overseeing and supporting the CAIO in the day-to-day operations of the AI department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills to support the execution of the CAIO's vision and to ensure that all AI activities and projects align with the company’s strategic objectives. The AI Operations Manager will be part of the AI Leadership Team. This role includes the following responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Assist the CAIO in daily operational tasks and strategic planning.

  • Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the AI department.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for AI leadership meetings.

Project Coordination:

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for AI projects.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between AI teams and other departments.

  • Keeping track of the progress of AI projects, ensuring they are on track and aligned with strategic goals.

Strategic Execution:

  • Support the CAIO in developing and executing the AI strategy.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements and provide relevant input to the CAIO.

Risk and Compliance Management:

  • Follow-up on the implementation governance frameworks to ensure ethical and compliant use of AI technologies together with the QARA team of Clario.

  • Follow-up and report on any risks associated with AI implementation.

What we look for

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in AI, operations management, or a related role

  • Proven experience in supporting senior executives and managing complex projects

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their business applications as well as AI ethics, compliance and risk management

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to tackle tasks directly and lead by example.

  • Experience in healthcare is considered a plus

  • PhD is considered a plus
