Description

Imagen is looking for an AI Operations Manager to join our Product team and lead the operational processes behind the data that powers our AI models, ensuring high-quality datasets that drive model performance and product innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Translate product and AI requirements into structured data and annotation projects.
  • Define annotation specifications, guidelines, workflows, and success criteria.
  • Manage end-to-end image annotation operations with external vendors.
  • Own vendor relationships, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct ongoing quality control and validation of annotated datasets.
  • Organize and manage large image datasets for AI training and evaluation.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, AI Researchers, Data Scientists, and Customer Success teams to support AI feature development.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuously improve annotation and data quality processes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in AI Operations, Data Operations, Annotation Operations, Product Operations, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing image annotation and data labeling projects - a Must.
  • Experience working with external annotation vendors and outsourcing partners - a Must.
  • Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning,computer vision and LLM-based systems - a must.
  • Experience creating annotation guidelines, specifications, and quality control processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, data tagging, project management or related role
  • Experience working with outsourcing teams and managing remote collaborators
  • Analytical mindset, decision-making, and risk management capabilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills, matched with the agility to multitask
  • Familiarity/background in AI fields and photo-tagging processes
  • Excellent written and spoken English
