Apprenticely is working with our company partner, the Simporter to add an AI Insights Operations Analyst Intern to their team in Bentonville, Arkansas!

Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to an IT career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.

About Simporter:
Simporter is an AI company that helps leading brands identify emerging trends and invent new products to satisfy consumer needs. Our clients include Clorox, Colgate-Palmolive, Hershey, and other Fortune 500 companies. They use our AI platform for proprietary research and design tools that help them produce better-selling new products.

About the Role:

Simporter is seeking an AI Insights Operations Analyst to join our team through a 12-week Work-Based Learning program based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of artificial intelligence, business operations, and human insights research. You will help transform large volumes of consumer data and AI-generated content into reports, presentations, and innovation recommendations used by some of the world's most recognized consumer brands.

Rather than simply observing projects, you will contribute directly to the creation of client deliverables, gaining practical experience with AI workflows, data analysis, report development, and innovation consulting.

No coding experience is required. This role focuses on using AI tools, organizing information, building reports, and supporting business operations—not software development. We are looking for candidates who are curious, organized, strong communicators, and excited to learn how AI can be applied in a real business environment.

Successful participants may be considered for future employment opportunities with Simporter following completion of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and organize data from the Simporter platform to support consumer insights and innovation projects.
  • Consolidate findings from multiple analyses into standardized report structures.
  • Use our AI tools, as well as Claude and ChatGPT, to create first drafts of market research reports and test summaries.
  • Review, edit, and improve AI-generated content for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Assemble and edit PowerPoint presentations and client deliverables.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain project data and supporting materials.
  • Track project status and coordinate follow-up activities to help keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Attend virtual client meetings to see how AI-powered research and innovation projects are being adapted by Fortune 500 companies.

  • Track project status and coordinate follow-up activities to help keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Attend virtual client meetings to see how AI-powered research and innovation projects are being adapted by Fortune 500 companies.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Independently gather and organize project data from the Simporter platform.
  • Use AI tools to synthesize findings and generate draft report content.
  • Assemble first-pass client presentations and research deliverables.
  • Support multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of project tasks and follow-through with minimal supervision.
  • Reduce the administrative and report-production workload of senior team members through reliable execution and strong organizational skills.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Are excited about AI and emerging technology.
  • Enjoy learning new software and systems.
  • Have strong written communication skills.
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Like turning large amounts of information into clear summaries.
