Advises departments on responsible, high-value adoption of enterprise AI: readiness assessment, use-case prioritization, governance aligned to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, proof-of-concept delivery, and knowledge transfer so County staff can sustain AI capability independently. This is advisory/consulting and organizational-change work — application development is a downstream concern the Specialist coordinates on, not the core job.
