By automating complex, manual healthcare processes—like benefit verification and prior authorization—we’ve grown from $0 to $7M in annual recurring revenue in just over a year, and currently help more than 200,000 new patients every month.
We’re partnering with some of the largest pharmacy benefit managers and payers in the nation, revolutionizing how healthcare interactions occur by eliminating human delays and inefficiencies. Our small, elite team of founders and engineers have previously launched and exited successful healthcare startups including Rupa Health and Canvas Medical. We are now scaling rapidly following a major funding round.
About the Role:
We’re looking for talented AI Engineers who can take models from prototype all the way to production. You’ll have significant autonomy to choose your projects and work on what you determine delivers the most value to the company.
In this role, you will:
Build and curate datasets for training and evaluating our AI models.
Build and maintain robust evaluation pipelines to rigorously measure and continuously improve AI performance.
Prompt, evaluate, and iterate on LLM workflows—retrieval, agent logic, tool use—to ensure they lead the industry in accuracy and reliability.
Own the deployment lifecycle—designing APIs, integrating model inference into our Python‑based backend, instrumenting observability, and monitoring performance in production.
Stay deeply connected to the latest developments in AI research and rapidly integrate relevant advancements.
Collaborate directly with product engineers, clinical leaders, and the CTO to ensure our AI directly meets clinical needs.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience working in applied AI or machine learning.
Strong hands-on experience with modern AI tools, LLMs, and evaluation methods.
Proficiency in Python with ability to integrate AI solutions into production backend systems.
Ability to independently identify impactful projects and proactively drive them from concept to completion. This role suits someone who thrives with autonomy and ownership rather than task-driven work. It's not a good fit if you're looking to have tickets handed to you to work on.
Comfort rapidly learning new techniques and staying current in a fast-evolving AI landscape.
