What? [You'll be doing] 👀

You will act as a hands-on engineer in a consultancy context, embedded within client teams, designing and deploying end-to-end AI/ML systems from proof-of-concept to production. This is a role where technical mastery meets high-impact client engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Own a feature or deployment pipeline on client projects, demonstrating technical mastery and end-to-end responsibility.
• Spearhead the adoption of MLOps/LLMOps best practices (e.g., feature stores, model monitoring, pipeline orchestration) to ensure client systems are scalable and reliable.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to design and implement robust data pipelines and model APIs.
• Bridge the gap between data science and business value by translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

What success looks like (within 6 Months) 🎯
Within 1 month you'll:

• Finish the Enjins AI Engineering onboarding program, in which you will understand how Enjins work, be trained in our approach and become a certified cloud practitioner in AWS/Azure or GCP.
• Start your first customer project!

Within 3 months you'll:

• Develop and implement robust AI/ML applications for your client, working on building new solutions and ironing out any old integration problems. This way laying the foundation of your AI engineering skills.
• Had multiple feedback moments with your project team before and after client meetings, to help you to improve your consulting and project management skills.

Within 6 months you'll:

• You'll identify new tools / methods / processes that work best.
• Have helped in the interview process for additional AI Engineers to join Enjins’ growing team.

• Have helped your client move along rapidly - their velocity has increased significantly.

Expertise & Skills 🔧

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Relevant experience with software engineering using Python, SQL, and Git, with familiarity across various languages and frameworks being a plus.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its data engineering components.
• Proven ability to bring AI/ML models (including LLMs) successfully into production.
• Familiarity with concepts like containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), ETL/ELT tools, and the basics of LLMOps/MLOps.

• Comfortable engaging with clients, including executive-level stakeholders (CEO, CTO, etc.), to drive maximum results.

• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical problems for non-technical audiences.

Requirements 📍

Fluent in English and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
