We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused AI Solution Consultant with deep expertise in AI and advanced analytics to support our growth in the aviation sector. This role bridges the gap between technical capability and business value, playing a pivotal part in shaping data-driven transformation for leading aviation clients. You will work closely with sales teams, solution architects, and client stakeholders to design and articulate impactful AI solutions that address complex operational and commercial challenges in the aviation industry.
Required skills & experience:
- Proven experience delivering AI or advanced analytics solutions in a consultancy or enterprise environment, preferably in aviation or related sectors
- Robust grip of machine learning algorithms, data science workflows, and AI/ML frameworks for example, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
- Proficiency in for example Python, SQL, and data transformation tools to support prototyping and solution demonstrations
- Knowledge with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their respective AI/ML service offerings (e.g., SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI)
- Great skills in client interactions and communication - good at recognizing what clients need, steering talks about solving their issues, and making impactful presentations to stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate aviation business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Can work well individually or with others in teams, adapting quickly in a dynamic, advisory environment.
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Partner with aviation clients to identify business challenges where AI, machine learning, or automation can drive measurable impact (e.g., predictive maintenance, passenger personalisation, route optimisation). Also looking at the use of AI in improving internal operations, software development, CICD, etc.
- Develop and present tailored AI solution proposals, including proofs of concept, technical architectures, and if possible ROI analyses
- Simplify complex AI concepts and translate them into business-relevant language to facilitate buy-in at all organisational levels
- Support data discovery, model design, and deployment strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal data scientists, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure seamless handoff from solution architecture to delivery
- Stay current on industry trends in AI, LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and automation, with a focus on their applicability to aviation
- Advise clients on ethical AI adoption, data governance, and compliance considerations (e.g., GDPR, aviation safety standards)
- Facilitate change management and enablement initiatives to support client adoption of AI-driven solutions
